Why do we collect data about your birth?
We collect information with your consent to help improve our services for other women and to help other women who are enrolled on the course.
None of your personal information will ever be disclosed to third parties or associates of third parties.
If you agree to statistical data collection after your birth, we will send you an electronic multi-choice questionnaire, asking a few specific questions about your birth. The questionnaire is deliberately anonomus to protect your personal data from the statistical data (please see
privacy policy for more information about your personal data and GDPR).
The questions will include, for example –
- On first physical contact with a midwife how many cm dilated were you?
- What analgesia did you use in labour?
- What position were you when you gave birth?
- What type of birth did you have?
With this information we can produce statistics that help show the effectiveness of this online antenatal education programme.
